Digital Signage for versatile screens
MTV’s new offices at Helsinki deployed big screens and touch displays for different usage scenarios scattered around the building. However the system lacked workflow management and control. Singlularity Designs created SitePlayer, extremely thin Digital Signage solution for all screens from single touch-screen kiosks to 10K studio walls. One control and management interface to rule them all.
Solution includes management of IP-based Multiviewers (by DVB-Mosaic) and serial control of the LG WebOS based appliances (TVs, Digital Signage screens and studio lwall LG CVCA controllers)
Finnish Hockey Elite League (Liiga) - TV-production procurement
During 2017 and 2023 rights bidding we have been helping sports right holders to define, select, acquire and create the TV-production ecosystem for enhanced sports content creation, from broadcast TV to OTT streams and mobile apps.
Country Manager level governance for Streaming Service
Owner of the C More decided to merge it’s various On Demand Video services into a single platform and application. We were responsible for bringing Finland’s second largest SVOD (Subscriber Video on Demand) Service "C More Finland" to a managed end-of-life without jeopardizing the customer experience, until the merger to the new solution was finalized.
The role was Country Manager level position to govern C More Product development, vendors, finance and agreements in Finland.
C More was successfully shut down mid December 2023 and executed transition plan was very effective leaving no C More customers in the dark.
Web analytics conversion from Adobe Analytics to Google Analytics
MTV had decided to move from Adobe Experience Cloud products to Google Analytics (GA4&Looker). We designed the roadmap together with MTV News crew to ensure seamless data availability and activation of modern online analytics features that for example provide to every journalist own insight to their work.
All the migration work was also carried out by us.
Currently MTV News is looking ahead with numbers, not behind.
TV production service procurement and deployment for a leading media company
Based on the success of sports production procurement, we helped a broadcaster company in their quest to relocate their daily production to new premises. Selected operational model for the total technical production was PaaS and we helped them to define, select, acquire and deploy a true green-field hybrid IP-based production solution, of course together with great partners.
During deployment of new production premises and processes we also contributed in creating updated Risk Management Processes, Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Plans for the customer.
Secure removable media ingest for MCR
Today’s MCRs need to manage with plethora of media ingest sources in shorter time than ever before. Organizations also face growing threat of criminal activity in form of malware, RATs and ransomware attacks. We created a secure ingest solution of all physical removable storage media with techniques like onion security model, automated creation of non-presistent clean virtualized content entry points, insane firewalling and blast radius limitation by network segmentation only to mention a few.
